Rihanna now holds the record for history’s most-watched Super Bowl Halftime show.
Rihanna returned to the stage earlier this year as she performed at the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime show, and she now breaks the record for the most-viewed show in Super Bowl history. Roc Nation announced that the 2023 Super Bowl performance was watched by a record-breaking 121.017 million viewers, as reported by the tracking service Neilsen.

Neilsen also revised the original figure of the match between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, as it increased from 113.1 to 115.1 million viewers, a 2 million difference. “After a review that revealed encoding irregularities as well as issues with out-of-home measurement,” they said in a statement.

The new viewers figure breaks the previous record by the 2015 Super Bowl game between New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, which was watched by 114.442 million people (not including streams). The 2015 super bowl halftime show was performed by Katy Perry, with singer Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott as special guests.
During her performance, Riri went through a series of hits from her entire career. The set list includes songs “Bi**h Better Have My Money”, “Only Girl (IN THE WORLD)”, “We Found Love”, “Rude Boy”, “Work”, “Wild Thoughts”, “Pour It Up”, “All Of The Lights”, “Run The Town” and “Umbrella” and “Diamonds”.
