Rick Ross reveals the ‘Black Market’ Cover & Tracklist Below.
Rick Ross keeps the music coming & fresh off from his latest Mixtape Black Dollar, Rick Ross unveils the Official Tracklist of his new Album ‘Black Market’ releases on December 4th.
The Album features 17 Tracks and features came from Future, Chris Brown, Nas, DJ Premier, Mariah Carey, The Dream, John Legend & More.
Rick Ross’ Black Dollar mixtape was a welcome return to Deeper Than Rap’s pop-minded elegance, a marked departure from much of the more intense street rap Rozay had gravitated toward after “B.M.F.” Ross’ upcoming studio album, Black Market, appeared like it might follow suit based on the songs, and with the tracklist revelation today, the guess has been all but confirmed.
“Foreclosures,” the album’s lead song, was released on September 23, 2015. “Sorry,” the album’s second single, was released on October 9, 2015. Scott Storch produced the song, which contains guest vocals from American music artist Chris Brown. The music video for “Sorry” was released on November 12, 2015.
Ross’ repertoire has been littered with bombastic street songs, stories about being a drug dealer, and opulent meditations on the glitzier side of life. But, if Black Market’s lead single, the introspective “Sorry,” produced by Scott Storch and featuring Chris Brown, is any indication, Ricky Rozay is stepping away from his gaudy high-roller persona to confront some of his inner demons, a direction borne out of some of the lows that have plagued his personal life in the past year.
The album opened at number 6 on the Billboard 200 in the United States, with 65,000 album-equivalent units (54,000 copies of pure sales) in its first week.
