Listen to Eminem 1997 Freestyle with DJ Sincere & P-Love.
Eminem provided fans a previously unheard rendition of “Lose Yourself” with the release of the Shady Records compilation Shady XV last week. If that wasn’t enough, don’t worry: we acquired some more rare Slim Shady rhymes on Monday (December 1). About 20 years ago, Detroit Rapper Eminem appeared on Baruch College Radio for a Freestyle, and the Audio Clip just surfaces online. The Audio Features Eminem, DJ sincere & P-Love (Hosts of the Radio show)
On Eminem’s Appearance on his Show, DJ Describe Eminem ‘”I remember when Eminem came to the show with Paul Rosenberg,”. “Eminem comes in somewhat coy or just cool, and I thought Paul was his guardian because he was a big dude. Needless to say, Em killed it with a battle style that was so sharp,” the DJ said.
“You could hear laughter, ooh’s and ahh’s after some of his punch lines. All the MC up there that night killed it, and you could feel the spirit and how rough it was just on some hip-hop sh*t. I Praise Eminem and kept in touch with Paul over the course of the years we continued the show.” “He brought up an undisclosed rapper named Royce Da 5’9 a few months later, and we made history that night as well but that’s another story.”
Eminem and rapper A.L teamed up for a two-part event on December 9, 1997. Over a variety of tracks, including Diamond D’s “Soul on Ice” remix, the two traded bars. There’s a verse from “As the World Turns,” off The Slim Shady LP; one from “3hree6ix5ive,” a “Stan”-immortalized duet with Skam; and one from a freestyle he did on “The Wake Up Show” in 1998.
Eminem’s Freestyle on this Show came after the release of his Debut Album, Infinite. checkout the
