G-Eazy says “Rap God” Rapper Eminem Is The Greatest.
Oakland, California’s 26-year-old Rapper G-Eazy has just released his second studio album When It’s Dark Out earlier this month, which sold over 103k copies in the US, surpassing the likes of Rick Ross, whose new album “Black Market” only sold 54k copies in its first week of the Release. To promote and talk about his new project, G-Eazy stopped by the 26th Episode of Rap Radar Podcast.
G-Eazy was the guest on the 26th episode of Rap Radar Podcast on Thursday, December 10th, where he discussed “When It’s Dark Out.” He also addressed a line from his song “Calm Down,” which reads, “I’m the coolest white rapper in the business since the one with the bleached hair since the one with the bleached hair.”
On the show, he talked about his new project and the lyrics of his 8th track “Calm Down” of the album, in which he says, “I’m the coldest white rapper in the game since the one with the bleached hair“. He clarifies that he has much Respect for Marshall and he’s the greatest, “Much Respect for Eminem, he’s the Greatest“. He also clarified that on the track “Calm Down” he said “Since” and “Not the coldest ever“. He also revealed that he always wanted to look like Eminem that’s why he had bleached his hair blond when he was just 10 years old.
G-Eazy remarked in another interview with Hot 97’s “Ebro In The Morning” that “When It’s Dark Out” has the potential to take him to the next level. At the same time, he is confident that the record will satisfy his core audience.
While G-Eazy has just released his second studio album, Eminem’s ninth studio album is yet to be released. The eighth studio album by the “Rap God” artist, titled “The Marshall Mathers LP 2,” was released on November 5, 2013.
