Quavo shares a tribute message on Takeoff’s birthday.
The late Takeoff would’ve been 30 today if not for the tragic death in 2022. Takeoff’s Migos partner and Uncle Quavo took to his social to post a tribute to Take with a heartfelt message.
“Happy Birthday Take!!!” Quavo wrote. “A 30 ball damn bro the youngest out gang getting old boyy but today we celebrate no matter what we will always celebrate you and keep your name alive as long I’m here you are too twin it always have been like that and don’t nun change but the chains to infinity rocket man I love you. Lets get it!” He then received love from the likes of Murda Beatz, Rich The Kid, Bobby Shmurda and more.

Rapper Takeoff was shot and killed in early November 2022 in Houston. “It’s so hard to tell you Ima miss you because you always with me and we did everything together. Since we were kids you have been by my side lookin up at me, them eyes waiting on me to make the next move,” wrote Quavo previously.
“Super quiet though, quietest in the room but paid attention to everything going on in the room, always been like that!!!” he continued. “Nothing ever really bothered Take and he didn’t bother anybody. He the most unbothered person in the world. He never got mad, he never raised his voice, and when he did, he silenced the room because what Take said was law and he wasn’t changing his mind fa na, not even Unc [Offset] could, you just gotta let me cool off for bout 30 mins.”
