Quavo officially announces new album “Rocket Power”.
After teasing it for the past few months, Quavo has officially announced his next album “Rocket Power” which is dedicated to late Migos rapper Takeoff. This will be Huncho’s second studio album, a follow-up to 2018’s “Quavo Huncho”. Last year, the rapper teamed up with Takeoff for “Only Built For Infinity Links“.
“This Album Is Embodying All My Emotions,” he wrote. “Through the process of healing I’ve learned to turn tragedy into triumph. I had to dig deep into my purpose and find the power to keep striving. To my fans, thanks for being patient wit me and supporting Us. To my FAMILY, even when times get hard we kno our MAIN mission is to keep the Rocket name ALIVE. TIL INFINITY.”

Previously, Quavo said: “This album is for the Rocket. our true fans and also this is my therapy. This is album is a true reflection of how I feel right now. Sometimes I’m Good, sometimes I’m Down, sometimes I’m Disappointed, sometimes I fall apart but then I ALWAYS find my strength again. I know everything might not be alright right now, but the rocket showed me a way to make it RIGHT!”
He added: “Rocket Power keeps me going. Rocket Power gives me fuel. Rocket Power will help us all overcome whatever we’re going through.”
The rapper’s first solo album “Quavo Hunco” featured appearances from Offset, Takeoff, 21 Savage, Drake, Saweetie, Madonna, Cardi B, Lil Baby, Davido, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott and more. The album initially debuted at number 66 on the US Billboard 200 with sales from less than a day of activity. In the second week, the projected peaked at #2 with moving 99,000 album-equivalent units.
The new album is scheduled to drop next month on the 4th of August.
