Nicki Minaj to debut on top of Billboard with Pink Friday 2.
Nicki Minaj released her brand new album “Pink Friday 2” this week, and the projected first-week sales numbers are here.
According to HDD, the Queen of Barbz is aiming for a number 1 debut on the US Billboard 200 with projected sales of 170-190K units first week. This will be her third #1 album of her career, which will be the most for any female rapper in history.

With the help of previously released hit songs, the album has already moved over 500k units in the US. Nicki extends her record as the rapper with the most #1 songs in US iTunes history, with 42 top songs. She also breaks the record for biggest debut for a female rap album in Spotify history.

The new album comes with a pack of 22 tracks, and guest appearances from J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Future and more.
Pink Friday 2 is a sequel to her debut effort, which featured Eminem, Rihanna, Drake, Kanye West and more. Pink Friday debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 375,000 copies in its first week. The album was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 54th Grammy Awards in 2012.
