Mark Batson celebrates 1 Million album sales of ‘MTBMB’.
Producer Mark Batson, who has worked countless times with Eminem, took to Instagram to share the platinum plaque he received for his work on ‘Music To Be Murdered By‘. He contributed to the “MTBMB” album intro ‘Premonition’. He also acknowledges being a producer for almost 20 years.
“Today celebrating more than 1 million albums and 1 billion streams since release …another jewel for us in the crown of Team Shady. Realizing today that I’ve been a part of this for almost 20 years. Sending thanks to #eminem #drdre #shadyrecords #Hit, One Unlimited Media and @kittydynamo” wrote Mark Batson.
Alicia Keys, LeAnn Rimes, Jay-Z, Dave Matthews Band, Beyoncé, Maroon 5, Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, James Blunt, Anthony Hamilton, Skylar Grey, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Seal, Nas, and Sting have all collaborated with Mark Batson on records. For Eminem’s Relapse (2010) and Recovery (2011), Batson received Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album in 2010 and 2011. (2011). In 2004, he received a Grammy for Best R&B Album for Beyoncé’s Dangerously in Love. He produced Alicia Keys, Skylar Grey, LeAnn Rimes, and Anthony Hamilton’s albums in 2016.
