Hit-Boy name drops Eminem and Obie Trice on his new track.
A new star-studded soundtrack for the upcoming ‘Judas and the Black Messiah‘ movie has been released which featured new music from the likes of Nas, Jay-Z, Rakim, ASAP Rocky, Nipsey Hussle, and more. Super producer Hit-Boy who also contributed as a rapper, name drops Eminem and Obie Trice on his track “Broad Day“.
“Ni***s said they with the sh*ts, that all was a myth
Marathon, pace it out, you caught in a sprint
Show me who you are once, ain’t gotta show me twice
You can’t sell like Eminem, you look like Obie Trice.”
In the following lyrics, he shouts out Eminem and it seems like a shot at the Obie Trice.
At the 93rd Academy Awards, the film received six nominations, including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor for both Kaluuya and Stanfield, and won Best Supporting Actor for Kaluuya and Best Original Song for Stanfield (“Fight for You”). Kaluuya also won Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globes, Critics’ Choice Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, and BAFTA Awards for his performance.
