Pete Davidson played the role of his future self in the new SNL Sketch.
The latest episode of Saturday Night Live was aired without the live audience due to a spike in Omicron cases. The episode with limited cast and crew was hosted by actor Paul Rudd, while musical guest Charlie XCX cancelled her appearance.
Pete Davidson starred in a new black and white sketch for the show, in which he played a future version of himself for the skit inspired by classic Christmas films, and Robert De Niro’s performance in Ragin Bull (1980).
Weekend Update presenter Colin Jost, who was replaced by Tina Fey after he sat out the programme amid claims that many cast and staff members tested positive for COVID-19, made an audio-only appearance.

“All right, Pete. You’ve still go it, baby. You’re the champ,” Pete Davidson says to himself before a performance in the 2050s. The 28-year-old gave a lounge performance in the skit, where he again spoofs one of Eminem’s classic tracks, “My Name Is” from the album “The Slim Shady LP”.
When Davidson joined SNL in 2014 at the age of 20, he was one of the show’s youngest cast members ever, as well as the first to be born in the 1990s. He’s been in a number of films and TV shows, including Trainwreck, What Men Want, The Rookie, and others, in addition to his tenure on the NBC sitcom.
Last December, Pete Davidson performed a parody of Eminem’s “Stan” for the Christmas episode, and also “Without Me” with Jack Harlow for Saturday Night Live earlier this year. He was also praised by Eminem, who also featured in the “Stan” Skit. “I was not involved in that ‘Without Me’ spoof on SNL,” said Eminem. “I was surprised by it but I was not involved. We were involved in the ‘Stan’ one. Shout out to Pete Davidson man. That dude is f**king incredible. He is f**king hilarious. The way he does those skits, you know, mocking the songs of mine, he sold that s**t. He’s super talented, man. That dude is super f**king talented.”
Davidson was the first cast member born in the 1990s and one of the youngest cast members ever when he joined SNL in 2014 at the age of 20. Along with his tenure on the NBC program, he has been in a number of movies and TV shows, such as Trainwreck, What Men Want, The Rookie, and others.

Pete is now a superstar, which comes with a price. As much as he still wants to be low-key and hang with his friends, the reality of his situation has changed.”
The song “Without Me” is from Eminem’s fourth studio album, The Eminem Show (2002). “Without Me” was released as the album’s lead single on May 13, 2002, and was then re-issued on his greatest hits compilation album Curtain Call: The Hits (2005). “Without Me” is one of Eminem’s most popular singles, peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and number one in fifteen other countries.
The song “Without Me,” by Eminem, was parodied by Davidson in March when he was dressed as Batman and Robin. The performance served as a sort of explanation for the current NFTs craze.
Weeks later, Davidson was confronted with the possibility of eventually talking about the skit with the legendary rap artist. “Eminem said a couple nice things, like, about me. And I, of course, heard them and I reached out and I was like, ‘I would just like to say thank you.’”
When Eminem appeared on Saturday Night Live and collaborated with comedian Pete Davidson to perform a spoof of his legendary song “Stan.” Santa and his elves get a bizarre letter from a boy called Stu, played by Davidson, who is yearning for the new PlayStation 5. Davidson transforms the lyrics from Shady’s 2000 song “Stan,” about a youngster who goes insane after contacting the rapper repeatedly and not receiving a response, into a single-minded Christmas list for Khris Kringle.
When Davidson joined SNL in 2014 at the age of 20, he was one of the youngest castmates ever and the first member born in the 1990s. He has been in several films and TV series, including Trainwreck, What Men Want, The Rookie, and others, in addition to his time on the NBC program.
One of his most intimate works to date is his most recent movie. The King of Staten Island, directed by Judd Apatow, stars Davidson as Scott, a would-be tattoo artist who never really dealt with the loss of his fireman father. Scott Davidson, a fireman, lost his life while performing his duty on September 11, 2001. He is ultimately forced to mature when his mother (Marisa Tomei) begins dating another ladder man.
