RobinThicke’s wife Paula Patton has files for Divorce from the R&B star after 9 years of Marriage. According to TMZ, The actress cited “irreconcilable differences” as her grounds for divorce. Paula, 38, has requested that she and Robin, 37, share joint physical and legal custody of their only 4 yrar old child, Julian Fuego Thicke. The divorce was filed in L.A., so there will be no issues over whether Robin may have strayed. It’s irrelevant. Paula Patton says that the date of separation was February 21.
“We will always love each other and be best friends,” they said in a joint statement released at the time of their separation. “However, we have mutually decided to separate at this time.”
In an interview with Hot 97′s “Ebro in the Morning” in July, Thicke admitted that he had not seen his wife in four months. “We’re apart because we just couldn’t be together anymore for a while. There’s a hundred different reasons. There isn’t just one,” Robin said.
“She’s the best girl in the world, a great mother and still a good friend,” he added. “I also want to wish her well and let her know that she’s a great person and she deserves to have a good life.”
Paula Patton met Robin Thicke at an 18 and under club in Los Angeles when she was 15 and he was 14. The high school couple got married back in 2005 and now goin to Divorce after 9 years.
