Paul Rosenberg Reveals Inspirational Story of Eminem Making Lose Yourself

Paul Rosenberg wishes Eminem on ‘Lose Yourself’ 1 Billion Spotify Streams.

A few months back, Eminem’s iconic Grammy-Winning Single ‘Lose Yourself‘ became his first track to surpass 1 Billion Spotify Streams. And now a couple of days ago, the Detroit Rapper celebrated the milestone with a tribute video for his 8 Mile classic track.

Eminem’s longtime manager Paul Rosenberg also sends his wishes for the incredible achievement and revealed the inspirational story of how the Detroit Raper made the iconic single.

I know you guys have probably already seen or heard about this but I had to post it too. 🎬@eminem recorded and wrote “Lose Yourself” on the set of 8 Mile. Whenever we had a break or downtime he would run into the studio trailer and get on the mic or tweak beats when most actors would have been catching up on their rest or having a meal. 🎥In fact, Marshall wrote lyrics in his notebook (or sometimes to the dismay of the continuity watchdogs on his palms)📽 while crouching in the corner with headphones on in between takes. 🎧Most artists don’t have the good fortune of writing a classic like this under ideal circumstances let alone those described above. 🎞It’s success and longevity is a testament to the dedication and genius of a rare level of talent and artistry. Congrats, Marshall! Really impressive stuff!🎦” wrote Paul Rosenberg.

It’s worth noting that this tweet comes only days after Eminem’s “Till I Collapse” became the first non-single music to reach the billion-stream milestone on Spotify, so we might see another Slim tweet soon. For the time being, give Eminem some props for continuing to rule the charts, demonstrating that his appeal is certainly one of the most universal in hip-hop. Are you still humming the 8 Mile motivational song?
