Offset Reveals Drake Never Charged Migos For Features Always Showed Love

Offset discusses Migos’ collaborations with Drake.

Offset recently released his brand new solo album “Kiari“, and he made an appearance on Full Send Podcast for a new interview. During the discussion, the rapper reflect on time with the Migos, and also talked about group’s collaborations with Drake.

“Always showed love,” Offset said about Drake. “Always pulled up to the video shoots, all that sh-t. Don’t make a hassle, don’t be charging ni–as nothing. We was lil’ ni–as. [He] didn’t charge. ‘Cause now, the artists of his size would bully the record. Like, ‘I’ma do it, but I want all the publishing, all of it.’ He ain’t do none of that sh-t. Like, equal splits.”

On the new album’s track “Never Let Go” with John Legend, Offset pays tribute to former late Migos member Takeoff. “Play back all the memories, hopin’ they don’t fade / Bando to the jet, jet to the stage / Hard to see my ni–a in that grave, this sh-t crazy / I’d give all this sh-t back just to get you back,” he raps. “Can’t trust these ni–as, f–k ’em, how I’m supposed to get over you? / Ain’t been the same, ’cause the pain f–k up everything.”

On the song “Move On”, Offset also fired shots at his ex-wife Cardi B. “”You never cooked ni–as no food, you just want go out to Nobu,” he rapped. “You f–ked around with the wrong dude, Hope your next ni–a be great,” in reference to Cardi’s relationship with NFL wide receiver, Stefon Diggs.” “F–k the time that we had, it’s erased,” he added.
