NLE Choppa Responds To NBA Youngboy Dissing Him For Siding With Lil Durk

NLE Choppa addresses feud with NBA Youngboy, says he’s not picking sides.

NBA Youngboy reignited his beef with Lil Durk after the rapper took shots at late King Von on the song called “Bring The Hook“. After the song, Lil Durk responded subliminally through his IG and called Youngboy a bi**h. Lil Reese and NLE Choppa also joined to shade Never Broke Again on DJ Akademiks tweet.

Then the Baton Rouge rapper decided to take shots at NLE Choppa with another diss track “Know Like I Know“, where he accused him for picking sides and backing Lil Durk. “I bet yo’ momma be destroyed ni**a / When we send yo stupid a*s to God for makin’ statements Choosin’ sides about my beef with them lil boys / I can say I saw it, you can say I was your favorite, ni**a / Better stay up in your place bi**h, f**k around get yo face split / They know I’m a demon, you ain’t met the devil til they seen me,” he raps.

Now the Memphis rapper was the latest guest on DJ Akademiks’ Off The Record podcast, where he addressed the whole situation and denied picking any side, but only doesn’t like Youngboy dissing King Von.

“It wasn’t ever with me picking a side. Honestly, bruh, I barely read what Lil Reese said,” said Choppa. “I barely really read what he said. I just know what he was saying was siding with my boy [King] Von. If you would’ve asked me what Lil Reese tweeted, I wouldn’t be able to speak it word-for-word. I wouldn’t be able to tweet the whole tweet. At the end of the day, that wasn’t the purpose behind. Being on a side or just trying to be in some sh*t, it was just off the simple fact that brother don’t be able to defend his name. I just feel like, with street stuff, if you did it, if that was your work, speak freely of it. Speak highly of it. You got every right to do it. That was your sh*t, that was your work, do it. But certain stuff be coming from outsiders that wasn’t even there when certain sh*t happened. I just don’t respect that part of it.”

NLE Choppa also spoke about his incident with an alleged NBA YoungBoy fan at the airport. Multiple recordings of the 2020 XXL Freshman battling a guy who approached him at the airport surfaced on social media last week. “Big 4ktrey,” a word usually associated with YoungBoy, was captioned on the first footage. Choppa leaps on another individual who appears to be pumping a fake punch in the second video.

In addition, Choppa participated in a lengthy interview with the Breakfast Club, during which he seemed to discuss his statement about the Reese tweet. “I made certain comments because my brother Von. That’s what I made a comment on,” he said, “Defending his name, because he’s not able to defend his name. One of the things I hate is when a person isn’t here to defend they name. I feel like violence come from how you move. I feel like beef is all about how you move. It’s what you do with the negativity.”

There were some rumors that NBA Youngboy and Lil Durk’s beef got squashed, but the things reignited again after the Top rapper again takes shots at Durk and his girlfriend India Royale, and also dragged DJ Akademiks. “@lildurk you a bi**h & yo nasty a*s h*e and it’s shown,” YoungBoy wrote on Twitter. “And @Akademiks you a pure Fat h*e who mouth gone be the reason you from now on (“invalid”) #RichestOpp.” In separate tweets, he also targeted Durk’s deceased friends. “@lildurk lol you ever realized you only get a buzz when one of your friends die? Think about it scary bum bi**h you know I ain’t lying ha ha #fact. @indiaroyaltyy tell that pu**y bi**h he bet not drop he ain’t thang ‘pretty lady.’”
