Nipsey Hussle to receive Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
Nipsey Hussle, the West Coast rapper who was murdered three years ago, will now be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The rapper is to receive the star posthumously, and the ceremony will take place on August 15th, which would have been the rapper’s 37th Birthday.
Last year, FOX 11 News in LA reported that the rapper was included in the 2022 class, and now Karen Civil confirmed that the “Victory Lap” artist will be honoured next week.

Nipsey Hussle was shot outside his Marathon Clothing store in South Los Angeles on March 31, 2019. Eric Holder, a man who interacted with the rapper earlier that day, was arrested two days later on charges of murder. He was found guilty of first-degree murder last month on July 6, 2022.
In California, Nipsey’s legacy will go on beyond the Hollywood star. The late rapper will be honored with a brand-new station, according to the Los Angeles Metro Rail. In Nipsey Hussle Square, there is a station that will service the Hyde Park K Line. There are eight stops total along the route, which passes through some of the oldest areas of Los Angeles and Inglewood.
