After giving us new music for the past year, Nicki Minaj finally gives an official update on her next album. The Queen of Barbz took to her Twitter and revealed that the untitled fifth studio album will drop on October 20th. “10/20/23 The Album,” she wrote in the tweet.

Minaj’s last project featured Eminem, Foxy Brown, Future, Swae Lee, Lil Wayne, Ariana Grande, Labrinth, and The Weeknd. The album debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 with 185,000 album-equivalent units, of which 78,000 came from pure album sales.
Just recently, it was announced that Nicki Minaj will be contributing to the soundtrack album of the upcoming Greta Gerwig-directed “Barbie” film. The project will also feature Charlie XCX, Dua Lipa, Ice Spice, Khalid, Lizzo, PinkPantheress, The Kid LAROI and more.
