NBA YoungBoy's Mother DMs Tyler Perry To Ask About A Movie Role

Sherhonda Gaulden is set for her headshot and has sent a request to the filmmaker’s DMs.

NBA YoungBoy is a celebrity in his own right, and it appears that it runs in his family. Sherhonda Gaulden, his mother, has become a social media sensation in recent years and is now preparing to scale new heights.

They say that you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, and NBA YoungBoy’s mom has opted to take a chance. Every day, deals are made and broken on social media as people utilise platforms to help push their ambitions ahead, and it appears that Sherhonda Gaulden aspires to become a film star it’s in one of Tyler Perry’s flicks.

The Shade Room revealed of NBA’s mother rushing into the actor, movie director, and screenwriter Tyler Perry’s Instagram DMs on Tuesday (May 31), requesting for a position in a forthcoming film. Gaulden seems to have no acting experience, according to the post, but just wants a fair chance.

“Dear mr Tyler Perry’s I think you should put me in a movie I have no acting skills are nothing like that buy you should just take a change on me,” she reportedly sent the filmmaker.

Perry is unlikely to respond, but it was worth a shot for Ms. NBA to try her luck at obtaining a movie part. While his mother pursues a career as an actress, NBA YoungBoy is presently competing for the title of the most-streamed musician in 2022 with Drake.

Drake and YoungBoy are the most-streamed performers in music, according to Chart Data. The 6 God presently outpaces YoungBoy by 200 million streams, with 3 billion streams to 2.8 billion.

The late Juice WRLD ranks fourth with 2.2 billion streams, followed by various Hip Hop and R&B heavyweights such as The Weeknd at two billion, Kanye West at 1.9 billion, Lil Durk at 1.7 billion, Eminem at 1.5 billion, and Future at 1.5 billion.

According to recent reports, the Baton Rouge rapper was given $25 million to re-sign with the label, but he declined. The “Sincerely, Kentrell” rapper has revealed the amount he wishes to get from Atlantic Records or any other company. Youngboy apparently wants a record label contract of $100 million or he will remain independent.
