Youngboy and Durk are in a feud since the death of King Von, who was allegedly killed by a friend of Youngboy label artist Quando Rondo. Last year, Youngboy dissed Durk and his ex-gf India Royale on the song titled “I Hate Youngboy“. In a teaser song shared on social media, Durk also took shots at Youngboy and his baby momma Jania Meshell.
Previously, Youngboy also dissed the late King Von on his track “Bring The Hook”. “Ni**a, this that Squid Game, O-Block pack get rolled up, Murder what they told us, Atlanta boy get fold up,” he raps, referencing King Von’s murder in Atlanta. Durk then responded to the Top rapper on social media as he wrote “Don’t claim it if you don’t do it, you still a b***h,” with a picture of King Von.
During an interview with Akademiks the day before his death, King Von stated that he had no serious issues with NBA YoungBoy and that there was no beef. “They be saying that a lot,” he said. “It’s like, we got the same issues and hoes and then you know how the internet will try to make it.”
