NASA Astronauts Bumps Eminem's Till I Collapse Before Falcon 9 Crew-1 Mission

Eminem’s “Till I Collapse” features in NASA’s Falcon 9 playlist.

Yesterday, the crew-1 mission lifted off on a Falcon 9 rocket from NASA Kennedy at 7:27 pm ET. The rocket took four astronauts to orbit in Space X’s first regular NASA mission to the International Space Station.

NASA’s playlist on the ride to the launch pad includes songs from Alicia Keys, Phil Collins, Van Halen, Lenny Kravitz, and more. The playlist also featured Eminem’s 2002 iconic song ‘Till I Collapse‘ which appeared on his fourth studio album ‘The Eminem Show‘.

On Sunday night (November 15, 2020), SpaceX sent four people into orbit, overcoming dicey weather and minor difficulties with a spaceship hatch’s inner seal. The astronauts will dock with the International Space Station after a 27.6-hour journey in orbit and begin a six-month tenure.

The 9 engines of the Falcon 9 rocket roared to life at 7:19 p.m. ET, brightening the night chilly sky as the rocket arced over the Atlantic Ocean.
