Mysonne backs DJ VLAD against Farrakhan and criticizes Eminem.
The Nation of Islam and its leader, Minister Louis Farrakhan, goest after VladTv’s DJ Vlad for misinterpreting Farrakhan’s July Fourth World Address and saying that he’s the reason for violence against Jews. Now the rapper Mysonne talks on the topic through his Instagram where he defends Vlad Tv and attacks Eminem.
Minister Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam, is furious at DJ Vlad, a well-known media figure. The controversy began when Vlad spoke with comedian DL Hughley on his VladTV show over Minister Farrakhan’s July Fourth World Address. NOI members believe DJ Vlad misinterpreted the Minister’s statements in order to tarnish him as a proponent of anti-Semitism.
Farrakhan not only calls Jews “Satan,” but also invites others to pick up a rock and fling it at them, according to Vlad. Farrakhan, on the other hand, encourages people to pick up “the stone of truth” against “so-called” Jews who are not being “true” Jews in his actual address.
“If you a Black Man, who has an issue about Vlad Tv (white man) not apologizing to minister Farrakhan for 1 post, But don’t have an issue with Eminem (white man) disrespecting Mariah Carey (Black Woman) for over a decade and never apologizing… We need a real deep conversation.”
Mysonne, who has been friends with DJ Vlad for twelve years, recently announced that he will no longer be a guest on Vlad’s platform. DJ Vlad refused to apologize a month ago for misquoting Minister Louis Farrakhan in an interview with comedian D.L. Hughley.
Due to the misquote, Royce Da 5’9, and Mysonne had a live chat. Mysonne responded with a video stating that he would no longer support DJ Vlad’s platform. In the video, he also claimed that Godfrey and Lord Jamar would no longer back DJ Vlad. The argument came from Vlad’s refusal to apologize for the blunder since it didn’t benefit Vlad’s “financial bottom line,” according to Mysonne. Mysonne also takes out Eminem for calling Mariah Carey “bitches” and “hoes” for the last ten years while emphasizing the need of holding individuals to a moral standard. Mysonne then calls on Royce Da 5’9 to demand Eminem apologize for his previous disrespect of Mariah Carey.
Back in 2017, when Eminem dropped his controversial BET Freestyle where he took shots at President Trump, Mysonne was among the celebrities who supported the Detroit rapper. “Shouts to #Eminem one of the best rappers of our time using his voice, platform, and his White privilege to speak,” he wrote.
When it comes to criticizing Eminem, Lord Jamar hasn’t held back, and Royce Da 5’9″ has always been ready to defend his pal. On Tuesday, a member of the Brand Nubian group went live on Instagram and took aim at Royce.
“I bet y’all thought I wasn’t going to reply to Mr. Royce Da 5’9,” Jamar said during the session. “Wrong! Let’s unpack this, shall we? An IG just surfaced recently a couple of days ago of Royce Da 5’9 talking about me. What up Royce? Apparently, you were a little upset—again. I thought the video was old actually. But nope, it’s a new one. People don’t really ask me about you Royce. They ask me about Eminem, but for some reason, you like to respond. OK. I get it. You’re a loyal guy.”
Royce Da 5’9 has a few words for DJ Vlad in his comment “I think you need to understand that as an associate of yours, when you misquoted Minister Farrakhan, that is highly offensive to me,” he said. “It’s reparable to me – between me and you. But nothing like this can ever happen again. It’s making my brain go somewhere else. I’m starting to get that abused feeling again.”
