Metro Boomin details upcoming project with Future.
Following his star-studded performance at the Coachella, Metro Boomin has revealed that the joint album with Future is coming soon. “After a 10+ year journey it was surreal to perform @coachella in front of 20k+ with my brother @future Metro Pluto album otw,” he wrote.

“Pluto, that’s my brother. We’ve been at it for a long time. This whole superhero moment, it’s like the beginning of our phase two. We haven’t had a song out since “Mask Off,” they’ve been on our heads. With this, and then the whole State Farm thing, it’s starting to slowly put people on notice: we crankins that sh*t back up too,” he wrote in a previous interview with FLAUNT.
Metro and Future have a close working relationship, but Metro did not contribute to Future’s previous project, “I NEVER LIKED YOU,” released in 2022. In an interview with Ebro Darden, Metro explained that simply doing one or two songs together following the success of their hit “Mask Off” would not be sufficient. He stated that it would require a complete project for them to collaborate again.”I was like, ‘Look, the last time anybody’s really heard a song from me and you was ‘Mask Off.’ So instead of us randomly throwing one or two songs we did on here, we got to wait and just give them a joint.”
Metro Boomin has been dominating the charts and streaming services with his latest star-studded album “Heroes & Villains”, which earned him his third #1 on Billboard 200. Just recently, the super producer also revealed that he is working on a project with Dreamville rapper JID.
