Metro Boomin posts a tribute message for his mother on her death anniversary.
Metro Boomin is currently on tour with “We Don’t Trust You” collaborator Future and took some time to pay tribute to his late mother on her second death anniversary. Boomin’s mother Leslie Wayne, was killed in a murder-suicide in 2022.
“Today makes 2 years since Your Physical being has left us but I get on my knees and pray every morning that Your Spirit fills and surrounds my brothers and sisters and I more and more each day. I Love and miss You more than could ever be explained or comprehended,” he wrote with some pictures with his mother.

Just recently, Soulja Boy fired shots at Metro Boomin, and also dissed his later mother in the process. After receiving criticism on social media, Big Draco issued an apology to his Twitter. “I apologize to @MetroBoomin for over reacting over an old tweet. Condolences to his mom,” he wrote. “I’m going to seek therapy and anger management. I’m done responding to hate, new or old.”
