Metro Boomin teases joint album with Future.
Metro Boomin has been dominating the charts and streaming services with his latest star-studded album “Heroes & Villains”, which earned him his third #1 on Billboard 200. The super producer now connects with FLAUNT magazine for their latest cover story, where he teased more than just few songs with his frequent Future.
He was asked if we gonna get a Future and Boomin collab album this year, to which he said: “Definitely. I would bet on it. I would definitely bet on it.”
He also praised Pluto for the appearance at State Farm Arena. “Oh, that was fire,” he said. “You know, Pluto, that’s my brother. We’ve been at it for a long time. This whole superhero moment, it’s like the beginning of our phase two. We haven’t had a song out since “Mask Off,” they’ve been on our heads. With this, and then the whole State Farm thing, it’s starting to slowly put people on notice: we crankins that sh*t back up too.”

Back in Jan, Boomin also teased the project on his Apple Music interview. “[Future] actually finished most of the album at my studio in LA,” he said. “That’s my brother, but we’re working on some things. At first, we were going to put a couple of songs with me and him on the album, but we had took them off because I had talked to him.”
He continued: “I was like, ‘Look, the last time anybody’s really heard a song from me and you was ‘Mask Off.’ So instead of us randomly throwing one or two songs we did on here, we got to wait and just give them a joint.’”
Metro gave the explanation that he intended to save his fire with Future for a full-length Record as to why he wasn’t present on I NEVER LIKED YOU. “[Future] actually finished most of the album at my studio in LA,” he told Ebro Darden ahead of HEROES & VILLAINS‘ release. “That’s my brother, but we’re working on some things. At first, we were going to put a couple of songs with me and him on the album, but we had took them off because I had talked to him.”
