Metro Boomin again teases joint album with Future.
The fans had been waiting for the Metro Boomin and Future joint album, and the super producer once again teased the project.
“QUESTION: In your opinion what needs to happen in hip hop to help stop the current slump that it finds itself in?” a rap blog posted on twitter. “Me and @future album of course,” responded Boomin with a retweet.

Boomin first teased the project back in January. “[Future] actually finished most of the album at my studio in LA,” he said. “That’s my brother, but we’re working on some things. At first, we were going to put a couple of songs with me and him on the album, but we had took them off because I had talked to him.”
He continued: “I was like, ‘Look, the last time anybody’s really heard a song from me and you was ‘Mask Off.’ So instead of us randomly throwing one or two songs we did on here, we got to wait and just give them a joint.’”
The producer previously revealed that Future joint album will be next following his “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse” soundtrack, which was released in June. The star-studded project featured Future, Lil Uzi Vert, JID, Don Toliver, Offset, Swae Lee, NAV, Coi Leray and more.
Last year, Metro Boomin released his solo studio album “Heroes & Villains”, which is one of the most successful hip-hop project of the past year. With the project, Boomin earned his third number 1 after 185,000 equivalent album units in the first week, which include 233.38 million on-demand streams, and 5,000 pure sales.
