Metro Boomin and Drake’s beef is not serious.
Metro Boomin and Drake have been in a feud for some time now, and the two recently threw subliminal shots at each other. However, now Boomin has clarified that the beef with the Toronto rap star is not that serious.
“Are u and Drake seriously beefing or is it not that deep,” the fan asked in a since-deleted post by Boomin. “Not deep at all lmao,” the producer responded.

Just recently, Drake sent a message to Boomin through his stream on Kick. “To the rest of you… the non-believers, the underachievers, the tweet and deleters… you guys make me sick to my stomach, fam,” he said. “Look at my eyes… you guys wanna do something? That’s what I thought.”

Drizzy’s message was in reference to Metro shading “Her Loss” album in a deleted tweet. A rap blog on Twitter posted a report that Boomin’s “Heroes & Villains” album was streamed 3.7 billion times in a year, which is more than any hip-hop album since 2018, and also generating way more than daily streams of Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss.
Boomin responded with a shade at Drake. “Yet Her Loss keeps winning rap album of the year over H&V,” he wrote. “Proof that award shows are just politics and not for me. Idc about awards honestly, the true award and REWARD is knowing that the music I spend so much time on brings joy to people’s everyday lives.”
