Megan Thee Stallion’s interaction with Sky Sports Reporter gets awkward at F1 Grand Prix.
The F1 Grand Prix took place in Austin, Texas this Sunday, which had several celebrity guests, including the rapper Megan Thee Stallion, who was there to support the Red Bull Team. When the “WAP” rapper was walking down the grid with her team, she was approached by the F1 driver turned Sky Sports Reporter Martin Brundle for an interview. The short interaction turned awkward when the Brundle asked her to do a freestyle.

“Megan Thee Stallion, you’re a freestyle rapper,” says Martin, before Stallion’s bodyguard tried to push him away. Then Megan lets the interviewer have the conversation, “Have you got any rap for us today on Formula 1?” he asked. Stallion laughed at the question and said, “I have no rap today. I’m sorry.”
After that Martin asked Stallion about which team she’s supporting, but then another member of her entourage stopped the reporter and said, “You can’t do that.” “I can do that because I did,” responds Brundle, who then turned around.

The Awkward exchange went viral on social media, and Martin Brundle also addressed the situation and asked for respect from the guest at F1 events. “I have felt under pressure on the grid before but by people called Senna, Prost, Schumacher, Mansell, Piquet, and so on. Bodyguards visiting the grid for the first time don’t bother me, everyone’s got a job to do, but they could maybe learn some manners and respect on our patch,” he wrote.
Several celebrities visited the Circuit of the Americas, including Ben Stiller and Shaquille O’Neal, and many came to the grid to see the cars before they raced. Megan proved to be good luck for Red Bull, as driver Max Verstappen won the race and extended his lead over Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton in the world title. Sergio Pérez, Verstappen’s teammate, finished third.
