This past week, the final verdict of Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion’s case was announced, and the Canadian artist was sentenced to 10 years in prison. After the sentence, Megan Thee Stallion has been receiving support messages, as well as remarks from critics.
The Traumazine rapper now performed at the Outside Lands Music Festival at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, where she snapped back at all of her haters. “Being a hot girl in general is just not –kin’ easy,” Megan Thee Stallion said. “I really appreciate y’all. So, today, I just wanna say, f–k all my haters. None of that sh-t you was doing or saying broke me. None of that sh-t y’all was doing or saying to the hotties broke them. I want all the hotties to put they muthaf–kin’ middle finger up, right now.”

Following the sentence, Lanez stated in a statement: “We both lost our mothers. We would sit there and drink, and drink until we got numb. I said some very immature things that I shouldn’t have said. I revealed some secrets I shouldn’t have revealed.”
The singer’s team also put a statement on his social media. “To The Umbrellas, I have never let a hard time intimidate me. I will never never let no jail time eliminate me. Regardless of how they try to spin my words, I have always maintained my innocence and I always will.
This week in court I took responsibility for all verbal and intimate moments that I shared with the parties involved. … That’s it. In no way shape or form was I apologizing for the charges I’m being wrongfully convicted of. I remain on the stance that I refuse to apologize for something that I did not do.
I’ve faced adversity my whole life and every time it looked like I would lose, I came out on top. This is nothing but another moment where my back is against the wall and I refuse to stop fighting till I come out victorious.
