Megan Thee Stallion graduates in Health Administration from Texas Southern University.
Megan Thee Stallion had been teasing her graduation for a few months, and the 3 time Grammy Award winner finally received her certificate from HBCU Texas Southern University. The Houston native took to her social media to share some pictures from the commencement ceremony, which was also streamed live. “Meg Thee Graduate. I know my parents are looking down on me so proud. Thank you everyone for all the love today,” she wrote.
“I want y’all to remember that you can do whatever you wanna do and be whoever you wanna be, cause look at me,” she said on another post. This year, over 800 students completed their graduation from Texas Southern University, and Tina Snow was one of them. Megan Thee Stallion earned the degree in bachelor of science in health administration.

Last year in an interview with People, Stallion revealed that she stayed in school to honour her late mother and grandmother. “I want to get my degree because I really want my mom to be proud,” she said. “I want my big mama to be proud. She saw me going to school before she passed. My grandmother that’s still alive used to be a teacher, so she’s on my butt about finishing school. I’m doing it for me, but I’m also doing it for the women in my family who made me who I am today.”
“This will be a ceremony that I will cherish forever”, said TSU President Dr Lesia Crumpton-Young. “As we celebrate their achievement, we also welcome them into Tiger Nation as alumni across the globe. I am confident that our graduates are prepared to transform the world through knowledge and experiences gained at TSU”.
Earlier today, the 26-year-old was also honoured with the 18th Congressional District of Texas Hero Award, which was presented by congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee in Houston. “Congratulations to @theestallion, the 2021 18th Congressional District Hero Award honoree! You at not only a source of pride and inspiration for our community and all of your Hotgirls, you are a humanitarian that cares deeply about your city, Houston! You are the embodiment of my favorite phrase, that it is better to give than to receive! Congratulations again 2021 18th Congressional District Hero!! As you said today, I love to see women lead,” wrote Sheila Jackson Lee.
