Max B Released From Prison After 16 Years Locked Up

Max B is finally a free man.

Max B, the rapper who was in prison for over 15 years, is finally out of jail. The Harlem-bred rapper was originally sentenced to 75 years in prison on charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and felony murder. In 2016, Max B took a plea deal for aggravated manslaughter, resulting in his sentence being dropped to 20 years.

French Montana took to his social media to share a reunion clip with Max B. “CANT MAKE THIS UP ! MY BROTHER REALLY CAME HOME ON MY B DAY ! HAMDULILLAH,” he wrote. “WALKED IT DOWN ! NO MORE FREE YOU [wave emojis].” The two then attended the New York Jets’ game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Max B also spoke with The People Gallery on Instagram for a short interview. “I’m feeling righteous,” he said. “Feeling good. I’m grateful. I’m thankful. God is good.” He also shared some fashion tips for fans, saying: “Listen, man, just be yourself… Get what you can afford, be yourself, wear what you wear. If it look good on you, own it!”
