Mac Miller Unveils “GO:OD AM” Album Cover & Tracklist.
UPDATE: The GO:OD AM album by Mac Miller is now available to stream on NPR. Chief Keef, Lil B, Ab-Soul, and others appear on the 17-track project.“The Doors,” produced by Tyler the Creator, is the album’s first track. The majority of the other tracks’ production is handled by ID Labs. The film “GO:OD AM” will be released on Friday (September 18).
Mac Miller is going to release his new project “GO:OD AM” on September 18th via Warner Bros Records and today he decided to unveil the official cover and tracklist for his album. The project will have 17 tracks with features from Vince Staples, Future, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, Chief Keef, Jhene Aiko and more.
Two singles were released in favour of GO:OD AM: “100 Grandkids” and “Weekend.” On September 20, 2015, Miller launched his international tour in promotion of the record, which began in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The album garnered mostly good reviews from reviewers and debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 in the United States.
“GO:OD AM,” his first full-length album since 2013’s “Watching Movies With the Sound Off,” is set to be released on September 18. “Two Matches” features Ab-Soul, “Time Flies” features Lil B, “Weekend” features Miguel, “Cut the Check” features Chief Keef, and “The Festival” features Little Dragon.
The first week sales for Mac Miller’s GO:OD AM arrived this afternoon as well. Mac’s sales predictions were about 75,000 units, but he actually sold more than that. GO:OD AM is said to have sold 78,024 copies in its first week, with 90,152 counting streaming. As a result, he’ll almost certainly launch at #3 on the Billboard 200.
GO:OD AM opened at number four on the Billboard 200 in the United States, selling 73,000 copies in its first week. During its first week, it was the third best-selling album in the United States. As of October 2015, the album had sold 92,000 copies in the United States.
