DJ Khaled named artist with lowest-rated hip-hop album of 2022.
The year is coming to an end, and DJ Khaled tops the list of Metacritic’s lowest-reviewed rap albums of 2022. Khaled’s “God Did” album was given 43 ratings, which is the lowest for a hip-hop album in 2022.
The 13th studio album topped the Billboard 200 by moving over 107,500 equivalent units in the first week, to become his fourth #1 project. DJ Khaled’s new project was a star-studded 18-track effort, with guest appearances from Eminem, JAY-Z, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Quavo, Takeoff, SZA, Lil Wayne, Drake, John Legend, Kodak Black, Travis Scott, Future, Lil Durk, 21 Savage, Gunna, Juice WRLD, Jadakiss, City Girls and more.
The second lowest reviewed project this year was Kanye West’s “Donda 2” album, a sequel to his 2021 hit effort. The album failed to chart on US Billboard as Ye dropped the album exclusively on $200 Stem Player.
The other lowest-rated albums are from Jack Harlow, Gunna, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, 2 Chainz, The Game, NAV and more.
