Logic drops new “The Incredible True Story” Album.
Logic has released his new album titled “The Incredible True Story” via Def Jam Recordings. The project contains 18 tracks with features from Big Lenbo, Lucy Rose, Jesse Boykins III, and Dria. Stream to the full project below and it’s available on iTunes here.
The head-nodding smash “Fade Away,” on which he showcases his frenetic lyrical flow, is one of the album’s highlight tunes. Logic performs braggadocio lyrics over a rhythm that sounds similar to Drake’s “Worst Behavior” from “I Am the Greatest.” The 25-year-old rapper reflects on his success and the ups and downs that come with it on the jazzy title tune.
In its first week, The Incredible True Story debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 chart, earning 135,000 album-equivalent units (including 118,000 copies sold as pure album sales). Logic’s second top-ten debut in the United States. The album also debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Albums list in the United States, earning his first number one on the chart. The album slid to number 21 on the chart in its second week, collecting an additional 26,000 sales.
