Logic and Rainn Wilson team up to make some “Beets”.
Logic is working on his next album, and he brings in a big name for a possible collaboration on the project. The rapper shared a sneak peek from his home studio, where Rainn Wilson aka The Office’s Dwight Schrute was trying to make some beats on the system.
“My man is making beats right now, and he’s really snapping,” he said before showing the actor the work. “You may be Black,” jokes Logic, “Right?” responds Wilson.
“Look who stopped by to cook some beets,” he wrote in the caption, referencing Dwight’s love for beets in the NBC show The Office.

Additionally, Logic and Madlib have teased a full-length project that has already produced a few early tracks. However, the Bandana beatmaker’s difficulty to recall the beats (due to a shrooms trip), as he revealed to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe last year, has delayed its release. “We did that in a weekend and Egon [Alapatt, Madlib’s former business partner] sent me basically every Madlib beat that he’s ever done,” he explained. “I mean, gigs and gigs and gigs from 2005. I went through and made my perfect album of all my favorite beats, then I just rapped on them all.”
The Bobby Tarantino rapper is reportedly working on his next project titled “College Park”, a follow to his seventh studio effort “Vinyl Days” from last year. The project featured appearances from DJ Premier, Wiz Khalifa, Royce da 5’9″, Action Bronson, The Game and more.
