Logic shouts out Eminem in “No Pressure Intro”.
A couple of days ago, Logic bids farewell to his music career as he announced his retirement with the release of his new album called “No Pressure“. In the album, Logic shouts out a lot of people including Eminem’s character in the movie ‘8 Mile‘.
In the intro track of the album, Logic raps, “On my Rosa Parks, in the back writin’ like B-Rabbit.” where he talks of writing raps like B-Rabbit in the iconic scene of ‘8 Mile‘.
Logic’s new album, ‘No Pressure,’ will be his first since his fifth studio album, ‘Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind,’ was released last year. Eminem, Gucci Mane, YBN Cordae, G-Eazy, Wiz Khalifa, and actor Will Smith were among the cast members of ‘Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind.’
The album is a follow-up to Logic’s 2014 big-label debut, Under Pressure, which was executive produced by No ID (also produced by NO ID).
The album is Logic Swan Song as he announced his retirement. “Officially announcing my retirement with the release of ‘No Pressure’ executive produced by No I.D. July 24th,” he previously wrote on Twitter. “It’s been a great decade. Now it’s time to be a great father.”
No Pressure by Logic is an emotional and reasonable conclusion to the artist’s legacy. We’ll never know if Logic is genuinely retiring for good because of his background. He could change his mind later on, but we’ll have to wait and see. For the time being, No Pressure is a timeless masterpiece and unquestionably one of the finest albums of the year.
