Logic talks about the shoutout from Eminem.
The fans noticed immediately “Friday Night Cypher,” the track that joins the rappers in Detroit with verses from himself, Royce 5’9, Kash Doll, Tee Grizzley, Cash Kidd, Payroll Giovanni, 42 Dugs, Boldy James, Drego, Sada Baby, and Eminem, of course when he unveiled the tracklist of his 2 albums earlier this week. Logic, who recently retired from music after releasing his final album ‘No Pressure‘, continues his new career where he lives streams on Twitch, playing games and a lot of other stuff. He was recently responding to fans’ questions while playing games on twitch, where Logic was asked about Eminem shoutout to him of Big Sean’s ‘Friday Night Cypher‘.
Em’s name-drops are sprinkled throughout the song, along with his usual dosage of explosive rhyme schemes. “I’m talkin’ loot like I’m riotin’/D**k is so enormous, I can’t fit the entire thing through a tire swing/I don’t think it would be Logic to say I’m retirin’/But I should say bye-bye, earthlings,” Em spits on the track, referring to Logic’s recent announcement of his retirement.
In the track, the Detroit Rapper references Logic’s recent retirement and raps “I don’t think it would be logic to say that I’m retirin.” He responded to the fans’ question and said, “I thought it was dope, I love Eminem. He shouted me out once before, before we actually ended up doing a song (Homicide).” Watch it below.
