A New Rare Eminem & Royce Da 5’9 Freestyle From 1998.
Hip hop music always becomes special for fans when they heard a rare track or Freestyle. So, For fans, DJ Eclipse releases a Rare Freestyle of Eminem & Royce Da 5’9 From 1998. The Freestyle was uploaded on his show of the Halftime Show. This Show Specially features Rare Eminem & Royce Da 5’9 spits some Bars on a freestyle. The freestyle was taped for an episode of Eclipse’s “Halftime Show” before Eminem’s “The Slim Shady LP” was released that year. Em, of course, jumped in during the freestyle, which shouldn’t come as a surprise given his history of spitting on the dome. Here’s what DJ Eclipse has to say about the Show:
“Merry Christmas everyone! Here goes another Halftime show from ’98 with guests Eminem and Royce Da 5’9″ (85:53). Short interview right into the freestyle session (if only cats today were as hungry as the 90s generation). As usual, Riz sets off the show lovely and then halfway through I get on to finish up. Always good listening to the mic breaks to see what was going on during that time (i.e. Tramps shows, Fat Beats in-stores, new mixer…thanks Fat Beats!) (52:25). So much good music played. Last mic break at 147:39. Enjoy.”
Some of these bars may be familiar to true fans — Em’s first verse, for example, can be found on the 1999 Bad Meets Evil track “Scary Movies,” while Royce’s can be found on “The Desert” — However, hearing these two tossing the ball to one another, complete one other’s lines, and rap over diverse tracks is still great.
Fast Forward to 1 hour 27 minutes mark for the freestyle.
