Lil Yachty’s new song “Poland” reaches to Polish Prime Minister.
Lil Yachty made his return with a new song “Poland” and the rapper earned himself a viral hit even before the release. The song which was leaked online prior to the release, became an instant hit due to the chorus “I took the Wock’ to Poland”, referencing bringing his Wockhardt—a pharmaceutical company most well-known for cough syrup, often used in lean—with him as he travels to the European country Poland.
Now it looks like the song has reached the Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki as well, as he reportedly invited the rapper for a meet. Quality Control CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas posted a text conversation with the Prime Minister. “Thank you for the call,” wrote Thomas. “Let’s make arrangements to get Mr. Yachty to [your] country to celebrate.” “Will check the schedule and get back with you. Thank you for your time,” responds the sender from Morawiecki’s side.
Pierre then sent the text conversation to Yachty, who didn’t know about the PM. “What’s that,” asks Yachty. He then googled the name and wrote “Oh sh*t.”
Drake posted an Instagram Story screenshot of himself playing the song on Spotify, while Wiz Khalifa labelled the music “rough” and praised Yachty’s fashion style. Yachty joined the Certified Lover Boy for his second OVO project with the University of Toronto earlier this month.
