Lil Wayne & Rich The Kid announces joint project “Trust Fund Babies”.
Lil Wayne has been putting out a lot of guest verses throughout this year, with the most recent DaBaby’s “Lonely” and Moneybagg Yo’s “Wockesha” remix. Last month, Tunechi teased some new material with Rich The Kid, which was later confirmed to be a joint project. Now Rich The Kid has officially announced his joint album with Lil Wayne, which is titled “Trust Fund Babies“. He shared the Artwork for the project which featured an animated baby version of both rappers and revealed that the album will release next week on October 1st.
“Me & @liltunechi album Trust Fund Babies releasing Oct 1st,” Rich The Kid said on Instagram. The caption accompanied the record cover art, which depicted RTK and Weezy as cartoon babies in diapers with heaps of wealth behind them. Fans initially learned about the collaboration mixtape when Young Money boss Mack Maine mentioned it in August. He hinted that the RTK and Lil Wayne collaboration will be one of three coming out shortly.
Young Money president Mack Maine, previously confirmed the joint effort with Rich The Kid, along with two more projects. “I mean anybody that’s like a Wayne fan knows that “I Am Not A Human Being 3” is coming soon,” Mack said. “Wayne and Rich The Kid have a project together that’s coming out soon. “ColleGrove 2” with 2 Chainz is coming out soon. Yeah so there’s lot of music wayne is working on.”
