Lil Wayne Reveals Official Cover Art For New Album Tha Carter VI

Lil Wayne shares “Tha Carter VI” artwork.

Lil Wayne continues the rollout for his highly anticipated new project “Tha Carter VI”, which is scheduled to drop on June 6. The rapper has now unveiled the official artwork for the project. The artwork contains a picture of the child version of Lil Wayne, just like the cover art for previous projects in the series.

Wayne recently revealed the guest appearances for the project, which include Machine Gun Kelly, Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Wheezy, Wyclef Jean, Elephant Man, his son Kameron Carter and more. It is also stated that “Wayne recorded a track featuring an uncleared Billie Eilish sample.”

“If there’s one thing about this album that’s different, it’s me approaching it like, ‘Man, what would I sound like on something with such and such?’” Wayne told Rolling Stone.

This will be his first full-length album in five years, a follow-up to 2020’s “Funeral”, and a sequel to 2018’s “Tha Carter V”. You can now pre-order the album, CDs, Vinyls and merchandise on Wayne’s official website here.
