Lil Wayne forgot the lyrics of “Tha Carter 2” classic.
Lil Wayne has one of the largest music catalogs in hip-hop, and such a wide collection of songs can lead to not remembering some of the old lyrics. The moment happened with Tunechi as he had to look for his own lyrics during a performance at a restaurant.
Wayne was joined by Robin Thicke, to perform their collaboration called “Shooter”, which appeared on “Tha Carter 2” album in 2005. The Canadian singer went through his part with ease, but the Young Money boss had to google his part while performing in front of the guests, which also had 2 Chainz, Mack Maine and others.

For his iconic output and inventive rhymes, Lil Wayne has placed on numerous “best rappers” lists, but when it comes to his personal list, one musician, in particular, reigns supreme. Weezy was asked to identify his top five rappers of all time during a visit to the What’s Wright? With Nick Wright podcast in May, and Missy Elliott got the top slot. “It’s always gonna be first Missy Elliott,” he said. “She’s a huge influence of everything I’ve ever done. JAY-Z is the best ever to speak. Biggie, obviously. Then I have the whole Goodie Mob. Then I have UGK.”
In a conversation with Eminem on Young Money Radio previously, the “A Milli” rapper revealed that he often Googles his lyrics, in case he doesn’t repeat them. “Man I literally broke when I’m doing something my sh*t. If you go through my phone history, my Google history, and you press “l”, first thing gonna come up is “Lil Wayne lyrics”. I literally have to Google my lyrics to make sure I didn’t say something before,” he said.
