Lil Wayne Says He Has No Interest in Doing a Verzuz Battle.
Lil Wayne has finally explained why fans should not expect to see him on Verzuz anytime soon. During a conversation with DJ Drama on the Gangsta Grillz Podcast, the rap legend made it clear that he has no plans to take part in the popular music battle series.
For years, fans have suggested possible Verzuz matchups for Wayne, with names like Jay-Z, Drake, Eminem, and 50 Cent often coming up. However, according to Wayne, the reason is simple… he believes he would be too difficult to beat.
While speaking with DJ Drama, Wayne was asked if he would ever agree to a Verzuz battle. His answer came quickly, and he explained that he doesn’t see the competition being close. Wayne said he believes he would outperform whoever was standing across from him, making the battle less enjoyable for everyone watching.

Lil Wayne: “If I am competing against whoever I’m competing against, I will embarrass you.”
“Album wayne, mixtape Wayne verzuz feature Wayne… I wouldn’t want to embarass no one… if it’s the wrong type of situation on that verzuz you can end their careers and that’s what I would do.”
