Lil Wayne performs a series of hits on day 2 of Rolling Loud California.
Lil Wayne was the special guest for this year’s Rolling Loud California festival, where the Young Money mogul made an appearance on the second day. The rapper performed a series of hits on Saturday night, and also brought out longtime collaborator Nicki Minaj to surprise the crowd.
“Ladies and gentlemen, no need of an introduction. The motherfu**in’ queen,” he said as the crowd went crazy. Nicki Minaj and Wayne joined forces for a performance of their song “Highschool”. Minaj then went on to perform her hit “Super Freaky Girl“, followed by her new single “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” and last year’s “Chun-Li”.

In his hour long set, Wayne performed hits like “No Worries”, “John”, “6 Foot 7 Foot”, “Love Me”, “How To Love”, “Loyal”, “Truffle Butter”, “Pop That”, “HYFR”, “Drop The World”, “Lollipop”, “The Motto”, “A Milli” and more.
Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne, who have collaborated on various songs for over a decade, performed together at an event. Their setlist included popular tracks like “Truffle Butter” and “High School.” However, during the performance, Minaj faced some issues with her earpiece, which caused her vocals to not be in sync with the speakers. In a post on Instagram Live later, Minaj clarified that she did not intend to rap over her own vocals. Despite the technical difficulties, Minaj expressed her enthusiasm to support Lil Wayne and praised him repeatedly as “the greatest rapper alive.”
