Lil Wayne Announces He’s part of Roc Nation.
Back in 2015, There were rumours that Lil Wayne signed to Roc Nation as he announced that he had signed a deal with Jay-Z But it was just a business partnership with TIDAL where he owns a stake as an artist owner. Last night in a show at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, Lil Wayne again made a similar announcement that he’s working with Roc Nation. “Is it cool if I just say it? It’s the Roc. You know I’m a member of that team now. We will talk about that later though.”
If Wayne has indeed joined with Roc Nation, there have been rumours about it in recent months. Wayne screamed out the Roc during the Camp Flog Gnaw Festival in November. Weezy changed the YMCMB name to one that referenced the Roc in January. “When you see me, it’s YMROC,” Wayne stated at a Miami concert.
