Lil Uzi Vert reveals his forehead diamond ripped out by the crowd at Rolling Loud.
Back in February, Lil Uzi Vert shocked everyone with his new look as he planted a pink diamond on his forehead. The diamond was reportedly worth $24 million and is almost 11 carats, his most expensive purchase. He revealed the reason for the decision and said that he couldn’t trust himself not to lose it. He got it removed this summer, but then again put it on for his recent live shows.
But now he got it removed again, as the crowd tried to stole it from his forehead during Rolling Loud Miami performance in May. “I had a show at Rolling Loud and I jumped in the crowd and they kind of ripped it out. I still have the diamond so I’m feeling good,” he told TMZ.
Despite a spokesperson for jeweller Elliott Eliantte declaring that the diamond was “as safe as any other piercing,” Uzi claimed in June that the gem was causing him to bleed and that he needed it removed. In the run-up to Rolling Loud, he had it implanted once again. “I’ve been paying for a natural pink diamond from Elliot for years now. This one stone cost so much I’ve been paying for it since 2017. That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond. A lot of M’s in my face,” he wrote in the tweet.
Lil Uzi rose to prominence with the release of his commercial mixtape Luv is Rage in 2015. He secured a deal with Atlantic Records soon after and released his debut single, Money Longer, in 2016. There has been no turning back for the American rapper since then. “Beauty is pain,” the MTV Video Music Award-winning rapper captioned a video of himself wearing his much-discussed diamond piercing on February 3, 2021.
The Philadelphia native earlier stated that he chose the facial implant over a diamond band because he was frightened of losing a ring. “I’m Lil Uzi. I’m turnt up,” he said on his Instagram after first getting the diamond implanted. “So $24 million on a ring is the stupidest idea because I’m gonna look down and that ring ain’t gon’ be there. I know me. I wake up in odd places and different sceneries.”
People couldn’t observe the implant wasn’t correctly placed, and comments like “is it too late to shift it over just half an inch” and “why is it crooked” began to come in on The Shade Room’s page.
Eliantte, the jeweller in charge of it, addressed safety concerns shortly after the man had the diamond placed and described it as “as safe as any other piercing.” “It’s completely OK as long as you maintain it well and have excellent care,” he continued. Prior to doing any work, we made sure Uzi invited someone in for a consultation. This wasn’t something we did at random.
Lil Uzi Vert quickly addressed the commotion, explaining, It’s actually in the centre.” It’s in the centre. I recently got it pierced, so I have a lengthy bar in it. When the swelling goes down, I’ll acquire a short bar to keep it from moving. You keep bringing it up because I put a long bar in there to allow it to move due to the swelling. But when it goes down, everything’ll be all fine.”
Lil Uzi Vert, who has a big Instagram following of 13 million, originally posted photographs of himself with the diamond on his forehead in February. He now has a barbell piercing where the diamond used to be as a result of the occurrence.
The diamond, according to Uzi, is about 11 carats and is worth more than all of his cars and home combined. “Yes, My Bugatti can’t even pay for it,” he said when a fan questioned if the diamond is worth all of his automobiles. Even my cars plus my home can’t.”
Yes my Bugatti can’t even pay for it … all my cars together ,plus home, 🚘 🚗 🚙 🏠 💰 this took so long now I can get this money 🥵 https://t.co/37urFCItq6

Lil Uzi Vert will play three UK performances beginning tonight (September 6) in advance of his debut at London’s Wireless Festival on September 10.
Throughout his recent performance at Rolling Loud New York, Lil Uzi Vert was enthusiastic. Who would not be beaming while sporting a set of brand-new Johnny Dang grills? The cost of Uzi’s most recent set of teeth is unknown, but a set of Carré Cut Grillz from Dang’s online store costs a whopping $17,500. Uzi performed some of his best songs during his headlining set in addition to making unexpected cameos during concerts by other well-known artists. Lil Gnar captured Uzi bouncing out to Chief Keef’s upbeat rendition of “Fanteto” in a popular video. To sing “The Way Life Goes Remix” off his 2017 debut album Luv Is Rage 2, Uzi then joined Nicki Minaj on stage.
Now that the forehead diamond controversy may be over, Uzi is turning his attention to his upcoming effort, The Pink Tape. The Philadelphia rapper provided a status update on his upcoming album over the weekend, saying that mixing is now taking place.
“Well, it’s going through its mixing process right now,” Uzi said of The Pink Tape. “Because last time I dropped an album, it did really well. It was actually my highest-selling album, but it was experimental on the mixing part, not the actual music, so this time I went experimental with the music and traditional on the mixing.”
