Lil Uzi Vert says the “Barter 16” mixtape is on the way.
Lil Uzi Vert becomes the first rapper to have a rap album at #1 on Billboard 200 in 2023 with his latest effort “Pink Tape“. With his third number 1 album, the rapper now teases another new project.
The rapper states that Pink Tape was an experimental project, and a new Barter 16 mixtape is on the way. “Sitting here thinking /bout how I went #1 on a experimental tape,” he wrote. “My apologies Barter 16 mixtape on the way.”
There’s also a possibility that it is a collab project with incarcerated YSL boss Young Thug, as Uzi added “Free Slime” in his story.
Back in 2015, Thugger released his debut commercial mixtape titled “Barter 6” through 300 Entertainment and Atlantic Records. The project featured Birdman, Boosie Badazz, Young Dolph, T.I. and more.

The previous week, Vert also teased “Luv is Rage 3” on social media, and stated that “Get this 2 number one and I will drop the album y’all really looking for,” he wrote for Pink Tape.
Uzi’s new third studio album Pink Tape moved 167,000 equivalent units in the US in the week ending July 6, which earned him his third top spot on the US Billboard charts.
