Lil Uzi Vert earns third #1 album with Pink Tape.
The first week numbers for Lil Uzi Vert’s new album “Pink Tape” are here, which charts at the top of Billboard 200. As projected, Uzi’s new third studio album Pink Tape moved 167,000 equivalent units in the US in the week ending July 6, which earned him his third top spot.

This was the biggest sales week for R&B/hip-hop albums this year, and it also became the first rap album to be debuted at #1 on US Billboard 200 in 2023. The last time a rap album debuted at the top of the charts was last year’s Metro Boomin’s star-studded project “Heroes & Villains”, which spent one week atop the chart dated Dec. 17, 2022.

Lil Uzi’s new album arrived with 26 songs, and guest appearances from Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Bring Me The Horizon and more. The project follow-up to Uzi’s 2020 album “Eternal Atake”.
In addition, Uzi also teased another new project called “Barter 16”, a possible collab album with Young Thug. “Sitting here thinking /bout how I went #1 on a experimental tape,” he wrote. “My apologies Barter 16 mixtape on the way.”
