Lil Baby achieves a huge accolade with “My Turn.”

Lil Baby’s 2020 album “My Turn” is one of the most successful rap albums of this decade, and the project has now earned a huge accolade from Billboard. Billboard has recently released their top 200 albums of the 21st Century, in which they named “My Turn” the best hip-hop album.

The list is based on the weekly Billboard 200 album charts dated Jan. 1, 2000, through Dec. 28, 2024. On the overall list, My Turn is on number eighth, behind two albums from Morgan and Taylor Swift each, Adele’s 21 and Post Malone’s “Hollywood’s Bleeding.”

The top 100 includes albums from rappers like Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Pop Smoke, Juice WRLD, Eminem, Outkast, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne and more.

My Turn is Lil Baby’s second studio album and was released on February 28, 2020, through Capitol Records, Motown Records, Wolfpack Music Group, and Quality Control Music. It featured guest appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, Future, Gunna and more. It topped the Billboard 200 with 197,000 album-equivalent units, becoming Baby’s first US number-one album.
