Lil Baby and DJ Akademiks beef reignites.
DJ Akademiks and Lil Baby have been firing shots at each other for the past few years, and their beef once again reignites following AK’s recent comments.
The Atlanta rapper recently teased some new music, and the fans noticed what appeared to be nail polish on Baby’s hands. Following the snippet, Akademiks took to his social media to take a dig at the rapper. “Dis ni–a ain’t been the same since then Michael Rubin parties… I kno his nails not painted .. man wats going on in rap,” he wrote. “The day we lost Lil Baby,” he wrote in another post with pictures of Michael Rubin hugging Lil Baby from behind.

After the shots from Akademiks, Lil Baby fired back and denied the claims that he was wearing nail polish. “Y’all blogs gotta stop just posting anything!! I ain’t painting my mf nails!!,” he wrote in his story. “At this point, ya’ll gotta see ni–as like Akademiks got an agenda!! Miss me with that weird sh-t!! (No lol).”
Back in 2022, Akademiks also challenged Baby to a boxing match after the rapper dissed him on “It’s Only Me” album.
