KXNG Crooked quotes an Eminem lyric on his Birthday.
One of the greatest of all time, The Detroit Rapper Eminem turned 49 on Sunday (Oct. 17), and his birthday was celebrated by fans around the world on Social Media. Eminem’s close affiliates also share their greeting for the Hip-Hop icon, which includes wishes from his good friends 50 Cent, Denaun Porter, and more. Former Slaughterhouse member and one of Eminem’s favourite rappers KXNG Crooked also acknowledged the Shady Records boss and revealed a verse that made him his fan.
“Since it’s Marshall’s birthday I’m going tell you the rhyme scheme that really made me fan.. ‘Better call the fire department, I’ve hired an arson to set fire to carpet, And burn up your entire apartment,’” wrote Crooked.

The lyrics are from a rare and one of Eminem’s oldest freestyle, which he performed at The Wake Up Show in 1998. The freestyle was over an instrumental by Diamond D and DJ Premier.
This 1998 broadcast from The Wake Up Show is one of Eminem’s first recorded freestyles.
This freestyle has been wrongly attributed as the piece of media that drew West Coast legend Dr. Dre’s notice to the Detroit MC, although Eminem has subsequently disproved that claim. Jimmy Iovine, the co-founder of Interscope Records, had discovered a copy of Eminem’s 1997 EP ‘Slim Shady EP’ and had forwarded it to Dre.
