KXNG Crooked lists the best storytellers, feat Eminem & 2Pac
Hip-hop has long praised the skill of storytelling, and rightly so because a well-told story allows an emcee to demonstrate their authorial prowess. In fact, storytelling is present in some of the genre’s most beloved songs, and it’s no surprise that the best lyricists can spin a yarn as well as anybody. KXNG Crooked, recently took to Twitter to identify some of his personal favorite storytellers, a list that covers multiple generations of lyricists.
Slaughterhouse’s member KXNG Crooked always interacts with fans on Twitter, replying to their questions on Hip-Hop. He recently spoke on Dr. Dre’s impact on Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar’s careers and now he responded to a fan who asked the best storytellers in the rap game.

A decent list, one that speaks to his unique preferences while yet addressing the essentials. Crook would come through with some of his favourite tunes in an ideal world, however he would probably readily agree if asked respectfully.
Of course, he’s no novice in that respect, having established himself as a world-class lyricist time and time again.
